KENDRICK SAMPSON
BLD PWR
I currently consult as a digital strategist for Kendrick Sampson & BLD PWR. I collaborate with his in-house team, using cultural insights, behavioral trends and customer research to build compelling social approaches that elevate the brand and drive engagement. I lead Kendrick’s social strategy for the final season of Insecure, and am currently building out the team and strategy behind BLD PWR Productions, launching spring 2023.

LUCKY DAYE
CANDYDRIP ALBUM
I lead the digital and creative strategy for the rollout of Lucky Daye's Grammy nominated sophmore album, Candydrip. I conceptualized and creative directed promotional short form content, lead the viral TikTok campaign for the album's lead single, and managed all social platforms (growing Instagram by 20% and TikTok by 34%).

KEEP COOL
I was Head of Digital at Keep Cool (RCA Records), leading digital marketing, strategy initiatives and influencer campaigns for artists: Normani, Lucky Daye, Freddie Gibbs, UMI, VanJess. Developing social trailers, digital posters, design assets, advertisements, and newsletters for label artists + Keep Cool brand. I created and developed digital media partnerships with:VEVO, Youtube, Genius and more.​

FAST COMPANY
As Head of Social Video, I managed and coordinated FC's cover story and video feature rollouts across socials. I lead Fast Company's social strategy for their yearly SXSW, FC Grill, where we hosted business visionaries, diverse leaders, and exceptional change agents for four days of compelling programming, novel experiences, and uncommon connections. I also built relationships with digital influencers to build audience + drive KPIs. ​

MTV NEWS
As Audience Developmet Manager at MTV News, I developed and executed content strategies for daily news features, cover story releases, artist social takeovers, and branded content. ​I also coordinated cross-promotional posting editorial partnerships with other publications, coordinated local and national event coverage across platforms​ and wrote editorial content for the music department.

THE FADER
As Social Media Manager at The FADER, lead the quarterly cover story rollouts across all social platforms, including features on Serena Williams, Rae Sremmurd, Vince Staples, Gucci Mane, Davido and J. Balvin.
I managed Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat accounts and coordinated artist takeovers across all social platforms. ​I worked closely with the video production team on rolling out FADER Documentaries, worked with the marketing team to manage branded content and developed content partnerships with other editorial outlets. I also contributed as a writer for TheFADER.com.
